Here are ‘the details’, of what to expect on your visit.
Getting to Bethel Bible Chapel
Coming from Pittsburgh (North to South)
The main road to take is US Rt-19 (also called Washington Road)
Landmarks as you get closer include:
- South Hills Village Mall (left side)
- Giant eagle Express (right side)
- Sun Chevrolet (Left side)
The Malanos Building will be on the left side going south, just after Sun Chevrolet

Coming from Washington PA (South to North)
The main road to take is US Rt-19 (also called Washington Road)
Landmarks as you get closer-include:
- ACE Hardware (right side)
- Applebee’s (right side)
- McDonalds (right side)
- Subaru Dealership (right side)
The Malanos Building will be on the right, just after the Subaru Dealership as you go up the next hill)
Upon entering the Malanos Building parking area
Go down the driveway which is on the right of the building
Park in that rear lower lot and enter the building’s rear door
- Go down the hall to the end where Bethel Bible Chapel has its services
- Please feel free to take any seat
- Dress is business casual with some wearing sport jackets and ties
- No collection is taken at the 11:00a service
- This service is referred to as the Family Bible Hour
- Bring your Bible if you so choose but is not necessary
- Sunday School is for the kids 3 to 10 years old
- A nursery is provided for those younger
- There is a time for coffee and other refreshments from 10:30a to 10:55a in the fellowship area across from the main auditorium
- Restrooms are in the hallway as you enter the building
- Expect to be warmly greeted as the folks at Bethel are quite welcoming
- The 11:00a Family Bible Hour starts at 10:55a with the opening Scripture reading
- After hymns and announcements and missions updates, our speaker usually begins at about 11:10a
- The service targets 12:00 noon as its finish time
